SCITT (tuition fee)

You will find these vacancies listed on Apply under provider code 1X9 (Hampshire SCITT Partnership).  For 2022/23 our tuition fees will remain at £9,000 for non-salaried trainees.  This is in line with some local and national accrediting bodies although others charge £9,250.  Applicants may be eligible for a bursary or scholarship depending on their degree classification and chosen specialist subject.

*** In addition to our standard PE programme, we also hope to recruit for our PE with EBacc programme; this allows trainees to train in an additional EBacc subject alongside their main specialism of PE.  Trainees who successfully complete their PE QTS under this scheme will provide more flexibility within the schools in which they are employed with additional subject knowledge in a priority subject.  In order for us to assess your suitability to potentially complete this programme, please contact us prior to submitting your application; candidates must hold certain A-Level and/or BTEC qualifications to qualify.

School Direct (non-salaried)

You will find these vacancies listed under provider code 16P (Hampshire SCITT Partnership (School Direct).  For 2023/24 our tuition fees will remain at £9,000 for non-salaried trainees.  This is in line with some local and national accrediting bodies although others charge £9,250.

  • Physical Education (Course Code AR03)

All applications for initial teacher training (ITT) courses are made via the ‘Apply’ system administered by the Department for Education. Applications will open for the Academic Year 2023 – 2024 on 11th October 2022.

School Direct (salaried)

You will find these vacancies listed on Apply under provider code 16P (Hampshire SCITT Partnership (School Direct)). Trainees on the salaried programme are employed directly by our partnership schools, and often continue teaching in the school following training. School Direct (salaried) trainees are paid as an unqualified teacher, in line with the Department for Education guidelines.

We only hold a limited number of training places for all our training programmes and once these vacancies have been filled we must close the programme on Apply. For this reason, we strongly recommend an early application to avoid disappointment.
