Autumn Term Newsletter

I’d like to take this opportunity to introduce myself as the new Lead for the Solent Maths Hub. My name is Sarah Anderson and I have worked in Southampton schools since 2009 as a class teacher, maths leader and deputy headteacher. Alongside this, I have worked for the Solent Maths Hub since 2015 and am incredibly passionate about the professional development it offers and the impact this has within schools. This year will be an exciting new challenge and I am really looking forward to seeing the difference Teaching for Mastery is making across our region.

I would also like to introduce Charlie Dowse as our new project co-ordinator, taking over from George Masters, and overseeing our wide range of Work Groups.
